Privacy Policy

Marvel Counters (marvelcounters.com) is an independent, fan-made project by XavoDraw, run on a non-profit basis apart from voluntary donations and the ads shown on the site. It is not affiliated with NetEase Games or Marvel.

• Screenshots you upload: they are processed entirely in your browser (offline OCR with Tesseract.js). No image ever leaves your computer or is uploaded to a server of ours.
• App preferences (language, detection corrections you make): stored with localStorage in your own browser. We don't receive or store them on any server.
• Match result ("How did it go?"): only if you tap "I won" or "I lost", the heroes of that match (your team, the enemy team and the bans), what the site recommended, which hero you played, the result, the page language and the approximate country reported by Cloudflare are sent to our server (Cloudflare). No player names, screenshots or any data that identifies you are sent. We use it to measure and improve the quality of the recommendations. If you don't tap those buttons, nothing is sent.
• Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate without cookies and without building user profiles. We don't use Google Analytics.
• No sign-up or account is required to use the tool.

This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

You can review and adjust what data Google uses to personalize ads, or turn personalization off, in Google's ad settings. For more detail on how Google uses this information, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which, like any hosting provider, may log standard technical visit data (IP address, browser, date) for security and service operation — we don't access those logs to identify individual users.

The site links to third-party services (Ko-fi, PayPal, Google Forms, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch). Each has its own privacy policy, which we don't control and can't guarantee.

Marvel Counters is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
